Visa Frauds Alert , These days its very common that Fake immigration companies are cheating innocent people by showing dreams of sending them abroad from states like Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and other nearby states. Many such cases have come to the notice and Police has taken action against these fake immigration companies aswell but it is people’s self responsibility also to be alert and cautioned about their harden money and time. In Chandigarh many unregistered immigration companies are duping youth on the pretext of sending them abroad on work visa, study visa, PR visa etc. and charging huge amount from them and their families.
Chandigarh Police has registered a case against the Director of Immigration Company and his team for cheating on the name of sending them abroad. A person from Chandigarh was cheated of one lakh 67 thousand rupees. After investigation on the complaint of the victim Brij Kishore, the Industrial Area Police Station registered a case against Saurabh Sharma living in Sector-122 of Mohali under sections 420 of IPC and 24 Immigration Act. Which has an immigration company in Chandigarh industrial area.
Brij Kishore told that in the year 2018; he met Saurabh Sharma in connection with going abroad. Saurabh told that he has an immigration company in the industrial area, Chandigarh. Saurabh promised to send Brij Kishore abroad.
The victim Brij Kishore had also gone to his immigration office, where accused Saurabh had taken one lakh 67 thousand rupees from him in the name of different documents and fees. Saurabh had taken this amount from Brij Kishore in different bank accounts.
After this, for several days, he kept deferring to send Brij Kishore abroad. When Brij Kishore asked him for his money back, he didn’t even return the money. After this, Brij Kishore gave a complaint to the police officials about the matter. The police investigated the matter and found that Saurabh had cheated Brij Kishore. After this the police have registered a case against Sourabh and his team.
