A new case of immigration fraud in Mohali has come to light where a mother and daughter were allegedly cheated of nearly ₹6 lakh by a visa consultancy promising to send them abroad.

Family Lured With Promise of Overseas Travel
According to details of the immigration fraud in Mohali, the complainant Navneet Mohan, a resident of Vasant Vihar, wanted to send his wife Prerna Mohan and daughter Ananya Srivastava abroad.
For this, he contacted a Mohali-based consultancy named Visa Palace.
The consultancy employees assured the family that they would handle the entire visa process.
₹6 Lakh Paid Under Agreement
In the immigration fraud in Mohali, the complainant paid ₹5,96,702 to one of the accused, Inderjit Singh, on November 30, 2024.
An agreement was also signed between both parties stating that:

Despite the agreement, the accused allegedly failed to initiate any proper visa process.
