Nawanshahr. A case of Germany Visa Scam has come to light where a family was cheated on the pretext of sending their son to Germany. The accused allegedly failed to send the youth abroad and did not return the remaining ₹1.80 lakh. Police have registered a case and started investigation.

The complainant Mohan Singh, a resident of village Jattpur, Balachaur, stated that his son Sukhcharan Singh was in Armenia in 2024. During this time, he came in contact with a person who promised to send him to Germany through his relative Shashi Pal, a resident of Yamuna Nagar (Haryana).


Germany visa scam deal of ₹4.90 lakh

According to the complaint:

  • Total deal fixed at ₹4.90 lakh
  • Full payment made to the accused
  • Assurance given for Germany visa

The accused promised that if the process failed, the money would be refunded.


Sent through illegal route, caught at border

In this case:

  • The accused tried to send the youth through an illegal jungle/donkey route
  • He failed to cross the Germany border
  • Was caught by authorities

Later, he was deported back to India on May 18, 2024.


Partial refund, ₹1.80 lakh still pending

After the incident:

  • The accused returned ₹1.95 lakh
  • However, ₹1.80 lakh still not returned
  • Despite agreement, the accused kept delaying payment

This led to the complaint.

Following the complaint:

  • Inquiry conducted at DSP level
  • Allegations found to be valid
  • FIR registered at Balachaur Police Station
