Australia Work Visa Fraud, The Economic Wing team registered of an FIR against the owner of Jai Immigration, located at Dabra Chowk, Hisar. Based on the inquiry, Sadar Dabwali Police Station has booked the accused for duping a youth on the pretext of sending him abroad for employment.
The complainant, Ravinder Kumar, a resident of Godikan village, claimed that an Instagram advertisement in June 2025 introduced him to Jai Immigration. The immigration firm’s representatives, Harpreet Singh and Sarvjeet Kaur, also known as Amandeep Kaur, are said to have approached him.
The accused allegedly assured Ravinder that he would get an Australian work visa in return for ₹19 lakh. Ravinder further stated that on August 5, 2025, Harpreet called him to a hotel and showed him an approved work visa of Australia on his laptop, which was later found to be fraudulent.
Ravinder believed the visa to be genuine and gave the accused ₹6 lakh in cash. He then used bank accounts to transfer an extra ₹12.90 lakh.
The victim went to the police after not being given a valid work visa. After the Economic Offense Wing conducted a thorough investigation, the police filed a police case against the Jai Immigration operators for immigration fraud, forgery, and cheating.
Police officials said that further investigation is underway to trace the role of all individuals involved.
