Visa Fraud, A man lost ₹9.79 lakh in an online job offer fraud. The complainant Rajesh Alva, a resident of Nadchal house in Veerakambha village mentioned in his complaint to DK district Cyber Economic and Narcotics crime police station that he had contacted on a WhatsApp number in response to a job advertisement on social media on December 18. He was looking for a job in abroad.
After contacting the person who posted the job online sent him an application form, which Rajesh filled and sent along with his bio data. Later on, Rajesh was told to pay money for the various fees and charges towards consultation fee, employer fee, application processing fee, visa processing, which he paid them via online and bank deposits. In total, the complainant paid ₹9.79 lakh to them. After getting the money neither accused send Rajesh abroad nor returned his money. Immigration Frauds
