Police Arrested In Canada Work Visa Fraud
Police Arrested, The EO Wing “Economic Offence Wing” of Ahmedabad Crime Branch has nabbed four persons, including a woman in a Canada work visa scam. They were providing Canadian work permit visas to Patel community members for Rs 8.50 lakh. Immigration Frauds
The accused are Kalpesh Kumar Patel, his wife Hina residents of Hariyalay Apartment in Sargasan, Gandhinagar, Babu Patel of Karnavati 2 in Narol and Rutvik Kumar Patel of Chandrala village in Gandhinagar. Apart from these two persons, Ganpat Patel and his wife Shweta Patel of Kotasan village in Mehsana, were arrested.
The victim Manilal Patel put a police complaint at the Crime Branch, In the complaint Manilal explained that The accused had put a message along with a mobile number on a WhatsApp, where work permit visas were offered at a reasonable rate. The accused claimed to be a Class 2 officer at Ambaji to win applicants trust. Accused offered a Canada work permit visa for Rs 8.5 lakh and cheated seven persons of around Rs 17.5 lakh.
Police official said, Beware of these frauds and do not pay anyone until unless you are sure about the genuinity of the person and company.
