Man Duped For Rs 95 Lakh On The Name Of Poland Work Visa
Duped For Poland Visa:- A Ghaziabad resident has been duped of Rs 95 lakh believing in a job offer abroad, The UP police officials said on Tuesday.
As per sources, the case has been registered at the Noida Cyber Crime police station in Sector 36 and is under investigation, Inspector Reeta Yadav, the investigation officer cum inspector in charge of the case confirmed the same. Immigration Frauds
Ghaziabad based Tarun Chauhan said he has been duped of Rs 95.9 lakh by a Poland based firm that had contacted him to arrange him a job offer in Poland in the last quarter of 2021.
The company also took his online interview on December 28 and 29 last year. After interview, They told Tarun you are selected and started asking him for fund transfers on the pretext of visa fee, work permit fee, travel insurance and various other reasons. Tarun confirmed the police officials that, he made a total 35 transactions against various invoices sent by the firm, In total Rs 95.9 lakh he transferred the said company.
Tarun (35), working as a senior management official with a private firm, said the last conversation he had with the company was in April’2022 this year and he was informed that he would get an job appointment offer from Bayer Corp. and Immigration Agency on April 25.
Tarun confirmed that when he had an doubt due to the representatives of the firm went incommunicado. He went to the Polish embassy in Delhi where the embassy officials informed him that the documents he was given by the firm are fake.
The FIR has been registered in the case and investigation is launched immediately.
