Fraud Visa Agent Duped 30 Innocent Women
Fraud visa agent duped 30 Women from Amalapuram, Andra Pradesh are falling prey to fake visa agents. Agents have collected lakhs of rupees from these women with a promise of better employment/life opportunities in abroad. These visa agents were making them board the flights with fake visas. One case came to light when the immigration staff at Kochi airport checked their passports and found that they departed from Shamshabad (RGIA) Airport carrying fake visa documents.
As per Sources, Rambabu an agent from Kunavaram duped many innocent women from Amalapuram by offering them better life and jobs in Gulf countries. Many women from various cities of Ambedkar Konaseema district gave him Rs 1 lakh for the work visa and passport process as he promised them a better future in the Middle eastern countries. As per sources, In May around 30 women group left for Hyderabad to catch a flight to the Gulf. This Agent Rambabu gave them all their visa documents and asked them to go Hyderabad.
There was another agent (co-partner of Rambabu) named Raju received these women in Hyderabad and put them on a Kochi bound flight and went missing from the airport in Kerala. In the documents verification process The immigration staff at the airport found that these 30 women were travelling on a fake visa and documents.
The immigration officials at the airport filed a complaint and On the basis of the complaint a case was registered against these women. All these 30 women, who duped by the visa agents from various parts of the state were arrested on May 8, 2021 at the airport.
These women are in jail for over a year now. Their families approached the women’s wing for the help and narrated them the whole incident. Now after the intervention of HRWA vice-chairman Bhavani, five out of 30 women were released on bail.
