Fake Visa, 300 Innocent People Duped
Two men have duped around 300 innocent people by promising them work in Middle Eastern countries. Immigration Frauds
The accused identified as Gograj and Sushil have been arrested by police (One of their partner is currently absconding). In last four months they have duped around 300 people by promising them to arrange them work visas. Police have recovered six mobile phones and around eight mobile SIM cards from custody.
As per the police investigation officer, the accused opened their office on the name of MEET VISA and their prime target was people, those were looking for a jobs in overseas. Accused used to target and attract these people by social media advertisements. Once these innocent people (victims) showed some interest in their advertisement, they used to call them to their office in Subhash Nagar, New Delhi. Later by convincing them via their fake promises, they used to keep their passport and took initial money on the name of consultation , visa fee , documents charges etc.
Later on they returned applicants visa stamped passport and took remaining money. The victims came to know that they have been cheated at the airport immigration counter, Where they found that the visa stamped on their passport the fake. Finally they put a police complaint to seek justice.
