Canada Issued Deportation Letters To 700 Punjabi Students, Visa Fraud

The Canadian Government (CBSA) has issued deportation notices to around 700 Indian students whose college offer letters were found to be fake. Immigration Frauds

As per these students after passing +2, They applied for study visa through Education Migration Services based in Jalandhar and headed by Brijesh Mishra. These visa applications were filed between 2018 to 2022.

Brijesh Mishra charged around Rs 16 to Rs 20 lakhs from each student for the expenses including admission fees to a premier institute Humber college.

After these students landed in Toronto and were heading to Humber college, a phone call was received from Mishra telling them that all seats in their chosen program got filled adding that they would now have to wait till the next semester for 6 months or else they could get admission to other college, which may safe their time. Mishra also returned their Humber college fee which further made students believe in his genuineness.

These students as advised by Mishra contacted other college and took admission to available 2-year diploma courses. These students finished their course and after completion of the courses, students got work permits aswell. On becoming eligible for the permanent resident in Canada, these students, as per rule, submitted relevant documents to the immigration department.

These students says, when CBSA scrutinised their documents on the basis which visa was granted to the students and found college admission cum offer letters fake. Finally the deportation notices were issued to all these 700 students after granting them an opportunity for a hearing.

As per these students the agent very cleverly did not himself sign their visa application files but made these student sign to show that the student was a self applicant without hiring the services of any immigration consultant. This was intentionally done by Brijesh Mishra as he had faked the documents.

When the parents of these students tried to contact Mishra in his Jalandhar office, his office was found locked continuously.
