Ludhiana police registered a police case, In the complaint, Jatinder Singh, 40, of Dhandhra lost ₹3 lakh to an accused who promised to arrange him a Canadian visa. Immigration Frauds
As per complainant, the accused, Saalam Khan and his wife Nikki who worked as event organisers. The accused promised him to bring him along with them to Canada to be a part of their show.
Jatinder paid them Rs 3 lakh but neither accused get him Canada visa nor returned his money. So finally Jatinder put a police complaint.
The Investigating officer, SI Hajoor Lal lodged an Police FIR under sections 420, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Immigration Act at the Dugri police station, Ludhiana.
