Man Arrested In Visa Scam:- The Delhi Police has arrested four persons for allegedly duping people on the pretext of sending them abroad using fake visas, These four persons including a state level player and a professional singer.
There are three agents including Amit Kumar, a state level Kabaddi player from Haryana, Yogesh Kumar a local professional singer and Varun Chauhan a Merchants Navy ex sailor. A passenger named Aman Kumar has also been held in this case. Immigration Frauds
The agents are involved in fraudulently obtaining Canadian visas along with their counterparts in Haryana and Punjab regions.
As per police officials, These agents used to operate in rural areas of Haryana and Punjab states and facilitated people in getting Canada/USA and other countries visas via unfair means.
This matter came to light, when a Immigration Officer Mr Surender Singh Tanwar registered his complaint at the IGI, Delhi Airport, Aman Kumar was to board a flight for Canada via Dubai and Mexico, And During immigration clearance, Aman’s Canadian visa was found fake.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police, IGI Airport said, That Aman has disclosed that he got the forged visa from his agents Amit and Yogesh for ₹ 20 lakhs.
Amit and Yogesh are also arrested, They disclosed that they were working with one more agent Chauhan and his associates from last one year. They were working as commission agents for Chauhan. They were supplying clients to Chauhan, who were willing to fly to abroad. Chauhan used to affix fake visa sticker on passport of the clients.
The mastermind Chauhan was also arrested at Kolkata airport while he was trying to leave for Thailand, police officials said.
Chauhan confessed that he is an expert in making fake documents like employment letters and labour management information for various countries like Canada, UK, Vietnam, and Russia etc.
Chauhan disclosed that He arranged these fake visas with the help of another agent named Krunal Kumar Shah and others. As per police officials the efforts are being made to arrest Shah and his team aswell.
