Police Register FIR Against 4 Visa Travel Agents

Police register FIR against four visa agents in separate cases for cheating of lakhs of rupees with clients on the name of providing them visa abroad.

The first case has been registered at Police Station Division No 2 against two travel agents, namely Pankaj Khokhar of Cheema Chowk and Hardeep Singh of Bassia. The complainant Balbir Singh from Hoshiarpur said his complaint that these two agents had taken Rs 1.14 lakh from him and assured to arrange him a work permit of Canada. Despite taking money, they failed to arrange work permit and now neither they had returned his money nor arranged his visa so, The complaint had approached the police for justice.  Immigration Frauds

The Police Investigating officer ASI Balbir Singh said The police  case is registered and further investigation is under process. He also mentioned that there could be more people victim of these travel agents.

In another case sahnewal police has registered a case of fraud against Ranjit Singh and Paramjit Kaur of Joshi Nagar, Haibowal. The complainant Sandeep Singh of Harnampura told the police that Ranjit Singh and Paramjit Kaur had promised to send him to the USA along with the crew of Simran Musical Company and for that they had taken Rs 2 lakh from him and after taking the money neither they arranged his visa and nor returned his money. The complainant alleged that he requested Ranjit Singh and Paramjit Kaur for Mandy time to return his money but they refused to return.
