Gujarati Community In Manitoba Shocked Over Deaths At US Border.

News Source:-There were shock waves across the Gujarati community in the Canadian province of Manitoba over the tragic incident of human traffickingacross the border that the province shares with the US state of Minnesota; in which a family of four Indians, believed to be from a village in Gandhinagar district of Gujarat, froze to death. 
“This is a shocking incident and many of us who have lived in Winnipeg (the capital of Manitoba) for many years have never heard of anyone staying out for several hours in the severe winter conditions of snow and blizzard that we have here. It’s tragic that a baby and a young child, too, were subjected to this horrifying experience of having to walk for several hours in these conditions; this is unheard of here in Canada,” Hemant M Shah, a community leader and trade director, Overseas Friends of India Canada, an organisation promoting India-Canada relations, said.
