Fraud Visa Agent Arrested At Delhi Airport
Two persons has been duped for Rs 25 lakh. The Karnal police has arrested a person for allegedly duping two persons of Rs 25 lakh on the pretext of sending their sons Portugal and Canada. The accused was identified as Lakhwinder, a resident of Punjab. Lakhwinder was arrested from IGI Delhi airport on April 29. Immigration Frauds
The Victims are Jai Singh resident of Bohla Khalsa village and Krishan resident of Gholpura village. They both had filed a complaint against Lakhwinder and Ajay resident of Kohand village in Karnal and their team. The accused duped them on the pretext of sending their sons Sanju and Jiten to Portugal and Canada.
As per complainants, Lakhwinder and his team first sent Sanju and Jiten to Thailand and then to Malaysia, where accomplices of a Pakistan based travel thrashed them. Somehow, they managed to escaped and return to India, Investigation Officials said.
On the complaint, a police case was registered at the Gharaunda police station in 2019. The police issued a “LOC” lookout circular against accused. The accused Lakhwinder had gone to Romania illegally, where he was arrested by local police. After completing his sentence, he returned to India and where he was arrested by the Karnal police.
