Embassy Staff Duped People, The Central Bureau Of Investigation has booked former France Embassy staff along with four other persons, They were providing jobs on the basis of fake job letters. Total six persons named in the FIR, and out of six two are former employee of visa section of embassy of France in Delhi. Immigration Frauds
On Last Friday, The Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) carried out searches on at six different locations of the accused at Delhi, Patiala, Gurdaspur and Jammu and recovered forged documents and articles including laptop, mobile phones, suspicious passports, among others. The arrested accused by the CBI are Shubham Shokeen and Aarti Mandal, both were working in French embassy, and Navjot Singh, Chetan Sharma, Satwinder Singh Purewal and Manpreet Singh. 
Most of the victims are from Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Jammu, These applicants submitted fake and forged letters purportedly written by a private company based at Bengaluru to the Consulate General of France, Bengaluru for issuing Entry Visas, for their joining private companies in France, The investigation officer said.
Shoken and Mandal (Former Employee Of France Embassy) charged ₹50,000 per application on being approached for issuing Entry Visas. These both two employees did it on their own without the knowledge and approval of the Head of Visa Department, Embassy of France, New Delhi, said the investigation officer. It was also acknowledge that after issuance of Entry Visa, they displaced/destroyed the documents/files from the Visa Department Record.
During their last five months, several files were allegedly handled by these accused. The most of the visa approved by them were not eligible according to the embassy norms i.e. young farmers or unemployed people from Punjab who had not even travelled anywhere before. During their tenure, the accused had perpetrated fraud of huge amount in visa section of the embassy, The CBI said.
