5 People Arrested At Delhi Airport, Beware Of Fraud Visa Agent.
Five people were arrested by the Delhi police team of IGI Airport Delhi, The accused allegedly provided fake France tourist visas to residents to earn money.
The Delhi Police team of IGI Airport has busted an immigration travel agents racket and arrested five people, including two agents, Three passengers identified as Sucha Singh, Surjit Singh and Amandeep Singh, all residents of India, were supposed to travel to Paris by Vistara airlines. These travellers ere found suspicious at the airline check-in counter area and On the basis of doubt,These passengers were inquired and their visas were found doubtful. Later, during the investigation all there visas were found fake and the same was informed to Vistara airlines. In this regard, a complaint was received from Central Industrial Security Force and a police case was registered.
Police team arrested all the three accused for further investigation and it was revealed that their documents were procured by their agent, namely Sandeep Kumar, and it was disclosed that to facilitate their journey, the agent charged a certain amount from each person, a part of the amount was paid in cash and the remaining amount was transferred to agent’s account.
As per the investigation, Delhi Police conducted the raids at Sandeep’s possible locations and Later arrested the culprit.
During interrogation, Sandeep disclosed that he got the France ( Schengen ) visas stickers affixed on the passports of passengers through agents, named Gaurav Gosain and Gurvinder Mockha, both residents of Delhi.
Sandeep also disclosed that he came in contact with agent Gaurav Goasain through agent Gurwinder Mockha and met them both multiple times in Delhi and Punjab, and together they planed to induce innocent victims and cheat them off their hard earned money on the name of sending them abroad. Sandeep also confessed that the money taken from these passengers are distributed amongst them Sandeep, Gaurav and Gurwinder.
Police has also arrested Gurwinder Mockha from Uttam Nagar, Delhi and Efforts are underway to trace Gaurav and further investigations are on.
