Punjab Police ASI Duped For ₹15.1 Lakh
A Punjab Police ASI has been duped for ₹15.1 lakh on the name of Australia visa. Immigration Frauds
The complainant Mehar Singh who works for the Punjab Police mentioned in his complaint that the accused took money from him in exchange of securing an Australia study visa for his daughter.
Accused failed to send Mehar’s daughter to Australia, the complainant kept on asking to return his money, but the accused only returned ₹1.82 lakh of the total amount.
A police case has been registered in Ludhiana against the accused under section 120-B, and Section 24 of the immigration act. Police booked two persons identified as Karamjit Kaur and Abhi both are residents of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.
