People Duped For Around Crore, The Navrangpura police, Ahmedabad booked two people for allegedly duping around 30 applicants of around Rs 1.41 crore by promising them student permit visas, work permit visas and tourist permit visas for Canada/USA/Australia. Immigration Frauds

A complaint registered by Sola resident Helly Patel, an IT engineer, stated that she had planned to go to Canada on a study visa to pursue her further higher studies. She contacted Travedook International to get the consultation. The company has its office near the Swastik crossroad, Ahmedabad.

Helly Patel met Anvay kumar Suthar of the company, who advised Helly to clear the IELTS exam to pursue a course in Information & Communication Technology in Canada. Helly paid Rs 12 lakh for the admission via cash and cheque and later paid additional Rs 5 lakh for a GIC certificate. Later on the company neither fulfil their promise nor returned her money.

Investigations revealed that the duo had duped around 30 people of approximately Rs 1.41 crore by promising them various visas for Canada/USAustralia.

Further investigation is under consideration and It may reveal more aspects in this case.
