Income Tax Raid At Immigration Firm In Jalandhar. 

News Source:- Jalandhar, In connection with the raid at a city-based consultancy for education and immigration firm, officials of the Income Tax Department remained mute on Wednesday. The premises of Sai Overseas, situated at Sahota Complex, near the bus stand was raided by an I-T team on Monday, which continued till Tuesday. As per sources, the residence of the travel agency’s owner Baljinder Singh Sehgal was also raided. I-T officers boarded four vehicles with J&K number plates and arrived at the immigration firm on Monday morning and unlocked the shutters. The raid was allegedly conducted on the basis of an audio clip of the immigration firm that had gone viral. The viral audio suggested a funding scam carried out by Sai Overseas in connection with educational visa of students. TNS
