Canada Latest Update :- Canada Govt. has changed the Covid19 guidelines for most of their provinces, Wearing mask is not mandatory for local residents, but the federal government still requires that you wear a mask after returning from international countries.

New travel rule will come into effect on April 1 that loosened restrictions for fully vaccinated travellers.

A fully vaccinated travellers is not mandatory to present a negative COVID-19 test when they return to Canada, There are still some rules need to be followed by all arrivals, 

While arriving, Everyone must still complete their ArriveCan form within 72 hours, which details a quarantine plan and allows them to upload their proof of vaccination.

After arriving in Canada, The rules you are mandate to follow,

• Wear a mask in public areas
• Maintain a list of all close contacts of first 14 days
• Monitor yourself for symptoms of COVID-19

The rules are different, if your randomised PCR test is taken at the airport. If you are fully vaccinated, You are not required to quarantine while waiting for your Covid test result, but If the result is negative, you do have to follow these rules:

• Follow local public health measures
• Wear a mask in public areas for the first 14 days after your arrival
• Maintain a list of all close contacts of first 14 days and locations you visited too.
• Monitor yourself for symptoms of COVID-19

If your test is positive for COVID-19, you must self isolate yourself for ten days, regardless of your province’s current isolation requirements. For example, in Ontario, you are required to self isolate for five days, but in this scenario, you will have to self isolate for ten.

You must also report your test results and symptoms to PHAC on regular basis.

If someone you travelled with tested positive then, you are required to self isolate for 14 days starting from the last exposure to the person and monitor for symptoms.
