Canada Issues Immigration Fraud Warning !
Immigration Frauds:- Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada issues immigration fraud warning to all nationals hoping to come to Canada for work, study or live permanently that they need to be aware of fraudsters posing as immigration agents.
“Beware of immigration frauds,” The Canadian immigration department warned in their recent tweet. “If it seems too good to be true, it is the time to be cautioned.
Many of these fraudsters are experts in their scams art and can take unfair advantage of many prospective immigrants.
On Twitter, Many of their victims vouched for the need for foreign nationals to be vigilant. One of them said, “I’m someone who already became a victim of fraud,” They gave me fake Biometrics Instruction Letter and Passport Request Letter. The agent ran away and then I got a letter from IRCC that I should lodge a formal complaint to local concerned authorities.”
Any stranger contacting a foreign nationals over the phone or via email and asking for payment is not from IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada ) department. They are the fraudsters. The best course of action is to hang up and report the fraudsters to the concerned department.
IRCC States That, It’s easy for criminals to copy the real website that looks professional and same as original, “Websites may claim to be official Government of Canada site. It may claim to offer special immigration deals or guaranteed. They do this to trick people into paying them money.”
