Australia Update, Australia Mandatory Digital Passenger Declaration For All Arrivals

Australia Update:- All travellers arriving by air in Australia have to complete the DPD. You can start a DPD seven days prior to your flight, However you may submit it before you depart for Australia. Travellers who do not complete the DPD before departing may face unnecessary delays on arrival at Australia.

When filling out the DPD Form, you will need to mention:

  • provide your contact details, including a contact phone number in Australia
  • make a legally binding declaration in relation to your vaccination status
  • make a declaration about your travel history in the last 14 days
  • make a declaration that you are aware of the quarantine and testing requirements that apply when coming to Australia and in the state or territory you are landing and the penalties for non-compliance.

A person who fails to comply with the requirement may be liable to a civil penalty (fine) of 30 penalty units (currently $6,660 AUD). This is set out in section 46 of the Biosecurity Act 2015. Home Page
