Ludhiana Police have registered a FIR against the owner of Star Immigration for allegedly cheating aspirants by offering overseas work permits without holding a valid license. The action was taken following complaints from victims who claimed they were misled with false promises of legal employment abroad (Work Permit).

According to police officials, the accused ran Star Immigration without license and allegedly assured clients of guaranteed work permits in foreign countries. The complainants stated that significant sums of money were collected under the pretext of arranging work visas, but neither genuine documentation nor overseas employment materialized.

During the preliminary inquiry, authorities found that the immigration firm was operating in violation of prescribed norms and lacked the mandatory license required to provide immigration and visa related guidance. Victims further alleged that when they demanded refunds or proof of visa processing, the accused avoided them or provided misleading information.

Based on the evidence gathered, Local police registered an FIR under relevant sections related to cheating and fraud. Officials said the matter is under investigation, and efforts are underway to identify other potential victims who may have been duped in a similar manner.

Further legal action will be taken as the investigation progresses, and authorities are also examining the financial transactions linked to the alleged scam.
